Show Dates/Venue Announced for ‘Puppy Love’ at Fringe Fest

World Premiere of “Puppy Love (The Werepuppy)” to Enchant Audiences at San Diego International Fringe Theater Festival

San Diego, CA – 4/15/24 – The San Diego International Fringe Theater Festival is thrilled to announce the world premiere of “Puppy Love (The Werepuppy),” presented by the Exuberant Theatre Company. This wild and whimsical solo show, set to run at OB Playhouse May 16-26, 2024 promises an enchanting experience for audiences of all ages.

A creation of Sean A. Mulvihill, an actor based in San Diego, “Puppy Love (The Werepuppy)” follows the story of a shy stagehand infatuated with the star of a Vegas circus show. Desperate to be lovable, he makes a wish, but to his surprise, the magic turns him into a cute puppy – a “werepuppy.” As he navigates his new furry form, his path crosses with the acrobat he adores, leading to a series of hilarious and heartwarming misadventures.

Can he break the curse and find true love? Audiences will be taken on a wild comedic journey as solo performer Sean A. Mulvihill embodies a colorful cast of characters in this delightful production.

– Thursday, May 16th at 10:30 PM
– Sunday, May 19th at 2:30 PM
– Thursday, May 23rd at 7:30 PM
– Saturday, May 25th at 7:30 PM
– Sunday, May 26th at 2:30 PM

Sean A. Mulvihill is a member of the Actors’ Equity Association. This production is being presented under the auspices of the Actors’ Equity Association Fringe Festival Code.

He is also known for directing the feature film Act Social, starring Colin Mochrie, which won the “Film Heals” Award at the 2021 Manhattan Film Festival.
